I’m obsessed with this bread! It’s the best homemade grain-free/gluten-free bread ever. Seriously, anything would be good on it.
Recipe for bread:
- 3 tbsp. flax meal
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. paprika
- pinch of sea salt, garlic powder, and onion powder
- 1 tbsp. coconut oil (melted) + a little extra for pan
- 1 tbsp. water
- 1 large egg
Mix all ingredients very well in a bowl. Warm large nonstick skillet and melt a little coconut oil on it. Spread the batter in the skillet and cook for a few minutes on each side (like a pancake).
Then, grill up some turkey dogs (my favorite brand is Applegate) and slice in half (long ways). Slap some Vegenaise and Dijon mustard on your bread and stuff it with some baby spinach leaves and whatever else you like (banana peppers, tomatoes, etc.).
Now eat that sucker!
